Sinopse

Who does not need ‘just the right word, a tip or secret’ from a scholarly/famous person? You could hire someone, a coach, to identify your strengths and weaknesses, but it could cost a lot. But you pretty much know what your weaknesses, even if you are a little bleary about the strengths! By buying this book you have saved a lot! This book puts many great teachers and motivators at your disposal 24/7. When you want, you can gain insight into proven behavioral tools, without spending more money. What gives you all this? It is all in your mind and through your mind, you can achieve miracles.

In a majority of the 5,000 quotes I collected, there is a central theme of inspiration in regards to business success. Not all quotes by a particular person are included. There are a few included for humor, to surprise and keep the mood light because I believe it is with humor that we learn more quickly. If possible, memorize some of these quotes to help your self-esteem!

Perhaps you think, “What difference can a few words make?” The following quotes are personal favorites and good examples: Henry Ford said, “If you think you can, you can, if you think you cannot, you cannot. In both cases, you are right!" and; the famous author Harvey Mackay said, “Optimists are right. So are pessimists. It is up to you to choose which you will be." How many people have given-up just before they were about to succeed? One word can make all the difference, just as one step in the right direction! It was Albert Schweitzer who said, “At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.”

Do you wonder which forces actually guide your activities? If you let your heart take the reins, it could, lead you down the wrong path. Allow your beliefs to guide you and you may overlook something important. Rather, your gut instinct — your intuition — rarely fails you. It is your subconscious mind that usually has your best interest at heart, you must listen to it and learn from it. Your instinct is in a way connected to the universal flux of energy, use it to expand and grow.

The other reason for presenting these quotations is that there is always ‘something else’ to be done. We all have ‘other simple things’ to do like eating, sleeping, spouses, children, family and friends - not to mention jobs! So many distractions, so little time! It was Alexander Graham Bell who said, “Concentrate all your thoughts upon the work at hand. The sun's rays do not burn until brought to a focus!” Or as author Dr. Wayne W. Dyer says, “A mind at peace, a mind centered and not focused on harming others, is stronger than any physical force in the universe.” Great advice to help you focus on what you need to get done!

But how can we concentrate on what we really want? By setting goals - according to writer Anthony ‘Tony’ Robbins, “Goals are a means to an end, not the ultimate purpose of our lives. They are simply a tool to concentrate our focus and move us in a direction. The only reason we really pursue goals is to cause ourselves to expand and grow. Achieving goals by themselves will never make us happy in the long term; it is who you become, as you overcome the obstacles necessary to achieve your goals, that can give you the deepest and most long-lasting sense of fulfillment“, and he continues, “It is not what is happening to you now or what has happened in your past that determines who you become. Rather, it is your decisions about what to focus on, what things mean to you and what you are going to do about them that will determine your ultimate destiny.”
